Waterproof connectors and connecting cables can be used in environments with water. A connector cable that can ensure normal use of the internal mechanical and electrical properties of the connector under certain water pressure conditions.

Waterproof cable is also called waterproof plug and waterproof connector. It is a plug with waterproof performance and can provide safe and reliable connections for electricity, signals, etc.

At present, the main evaluation standard for the waterproof performance of waterproof connectors is based on the IP waterproof grade standard. To determine the waterproof performance of a waterproof connector, mainly look at the last two digits of IPXX. The first X is from 0 to 6, and the highest level is 6, which is a dust-proof mark. The second digit is from 0 to 8, and the highest level is 8; therefore, the highest waterproof level of the waterproof connector is IPX8.

Sealing principle: Relying on up to 5 sealing rings and sealing rings to pre-tighten the seal with pressure. This kind of seal will not lose the pre-tightening force when the connector expands due to thermal expansion and contraction, ensuring the waterproof effect for a long time. It is impossible for water molecules to penetrate under ordinary pressure. (Can work for a long time at a water depth of less than 2M)

Connector protection level
IP (INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION) protection level system is drafted by IEC (INTERNATIONAL ELECTRO-TECHNICAL COMMISSION). Electrical appliances are classified according to their dust-proof and moisture-proof characteristics. The external objects referred to here include tools, human palms, fingers, etc. Do not touch live parts of electrical appliances to avoid electric shock. The IP protection level is composed of two numbers. The first number indicates the level of dust and foreign object intrusion protection the appliance has. The second number indicates the degree of sealing of the appliance against moisture and water intrusion. The larger the number, the higher the protection level.

Prevent tiny foreign objects >1.0mm from contacting internal parts of the appliance.

5: Dustproof:
Completely prevent the intrusion of foreign objects, and the amount of dust intrusion will not affect the normal operation of the appliance.

6: Dustproof:
Completely prevents the intrusion of foreign objects and completely prevents the intrusion of dust
