Molex Terminal Cable has 59 product manufacturing plants strategically located in Asia, Europe and North America. Because innovation and quality are inseparable from advanced manufacturing processes, we are continuously improving our casting core molding, stamping, plating and assembly processes.
We employ state-of-the-art plastic injection molding machines and metal stamping forming machines. We are constantly inventing new processes to meet the challenges of making smaller connectors. We have developed a proprietary coated plastic technology that provides superior protection. It also speeds up the sizing and manufacturing process in applications such as mobile phone antennas. We have strong manufacturing capabilities of printed circuit cards and wiring assemblies in the integrated products department.
Our commitment to reducing manufacturing costs while investing in increased production capacity is driving the trend towards fewer but larger Molex factories. Much of our investment will be in the expansion of existing plants, focusing on integrating site-specific expertise and processes. Our goal: to achieve economies of scale and higher production capacity while continuing to ensure on-time delivery.
As we invest in increasing productivity and expanding production capacity, quality remains paramount. All Molex factories are ISO 9000 certified, and our automated factories are leading the way with ISOTS-16949 standards.
