South African plug, also known as SANS South African national standard plug, SANS is changed from SABS standard. The South African national standard plug is divided into a large South African plug and a small South African plug, usually three cylinders forming a triangle. The largest pin (ground wire) of the big South Africa is 8.7±0.04mm (cross-sectional diameter), and the two small pins (live wire and neutral wire) are 7.05±0.04mm. The largest pin (ground) of the small South Africa is 7.05±0.04mm, and the two small pins (live wire and neutral wire) are 5.07±0.04mm. Small South Africa is largely the same as Great South Africa. The small South African pins are smaller than the large South African pins, and the spacing between the small South African pins is smaller than the large South African pin spacing.

Pins: There are solid copper pins and hollow copper pins.
Solid copper pin: It is made of copper rod turning, and the head has good strength. However, the lead content is high (pb>20000ppm), and the processing of the riveted part is difficult, requiring annealing treatment, and the cost is high due to high material waste.
Hollow copper pin: It is processed by stamping technology. The hollow cavity is generally filled with plastic to enhance the strength of the head, and the lead content is very low (pb<100ppm). The riveting part adopts friction annealing technology, the material is more environmentally friendly, the cost is lower, and the market prospect is good.
Plastic shell: PC material or PP material
Screws: colored zinc screws or other screws.
Style: South African power plugs are available in injection molding and assembly. Generally speaking, the injection-molded South African plug is directly connected to the power cord and cannot be disassembled or repaired. As for the assembled type, it is equipped with screws, and the customer can choose the wires to configure the product by himself, which is convenient for maintenance.
Standard: The South African plug complies with BS546 and does not contain a fuse inside.
