When the electrical appliance is in normal use, the current flowing in the live wire and the neutral wire is completely equal, and the current flows in and out, and the secondary coil of the current transformer has no voltage output. When there is a “residual current” in the “ground loop” (including the earth loop), the current of the two power lines passing through the transformer is unbalanced. A voltage signal proportional to the current is generated at the output of the “current transformer”. As long as the voltage signal is large enough, after the voltage signal is amplified by the integrated circuit of the dedicated circuit board, the thyristor on the trigger board will be turned from off to on. Energize the tripping coil connected in series in this circuit, so as to disconnect the tripping device of the main circuit and protect the personal safety that may be in contact with the power supply.
